The Blizzard of 2006
If you've been living under a rock, we've had some snow in the past 24 hours...
This is what we got up to this morning:
The Kennel front entrance
This is just our introduction yard -- the gate to the main yards is, yep, right there burried in the drift...
And then the calls started. Some clients are stuck in North Carolina, don't know when they'll be able to pick up their dogs. Many are supposed to drop off today, but they don't know if they can even get to our place yet. Our driveway isn't yet passable, though Dave is making a valliant effort. Our plowing service came last night, but 10 minutes after they left I got stuck in the driveway. Today I don't think they'll even make it to us.
And THEN -- our phones went out. So I started calling all of our reservations to make sure they have our cell phone numbers. Ufff Dah!
But no one needs to worry about the dogs. They are having the time of their lives
