San Francisco Bound!

Dave and I are heading out to San Francisco for a long weekend tomorrow. The excuses for going are several fold, but they all start with the Brokie gathering in the city. Some of the San Francisco Brokies got together with the Castro theater to have Brokeback Mountain once again shown on the big screen, and at the same time we're gathering a lot of the movie memorabilia that our group owns to be on display. The rest of the weekend we have a variety of entertainments such as going to the Gay Rodeo, a walking tour of the Castro district of San Fran, dim sum... The usual. We expect we'll know about half the folks attending and are looking forwared to meeting the rest!

We'll be staying with Dave's sister Caroline for the weekend, and on Monday drive down to Pacific Grove to see Dave's parents. Somewhere along the way we'll be celebrating our 14th anniversary which was last week. Fortunately our new camera was delivered in the nick of time so we'll be taking the opportunity to put it through it's paces as well!
